Q. What is "To Locca"?
To Locca is a locker reservation service where you access a dedicated site from your smartphone or PC and make a reservation online based on the availability of the lockers displayed in response to your search (a desired locker location, date and time, and luggage size).
Q. How much is the usage fee?
This service is on an hourly basis (*usually, fees for coin-operated lockers in Japan are calculated on a per-day basis). For more details, please access the <Usage fees>.
Q. Where can I find the lockers available for use?
Please visit the dedicated site for details.
Q. What are the size restrictions on luggage?
S size: 315 mm height × 342 mm width × 645 mm depth
M size: 502 mm height × 342 mm width × 645 mm depth
L size: 856 mm height × 342 mm width × 645 mm depth
※Depth of Yokohama Station Inside ticket gate North concourse is 603mm only.

Membership Registration

Q. Must I register for membership to use the service?
Yes, our services are available only for registered members. *Except for checking the availability of lockers.
Q. What do I need to apply for membership?
You will need an email address and credit card information for payment.
※Debit and Prepaid cards cannot be registered.
Q. I don't receive the email to the email address I want to register.
The e-mail address of the mobile operator may not be delivered due to settings such as spam protection. Please set to receive emails from @ to-locca.com.
If your security software or email software has a spam protection function, it may have been automatically sorted or deleted in the spam folder or "trash".
Q. What are your payment options?
Credit card only. The fee will be withdrawn from the credit card registered at the time of membership registration.

Reservation

Q. How can I make a reservation?
You can make a reservation online. Please log in at https://www.to-locca.com/ after the completion of membership registration.
Q. How far in advance can I make a reservation?
Reservations can be made from one-month in advance—the same day of the month before (e.g., reservations for May 1 begin on April 1). It can be made from the first day of the following month in case dates such as the 31st do not exist in the prior month (e.g., reservations for May 31 begin on May 1). When the service begins at 5 p.m. on March 24 (Tue.), reservations can be made up to one month ahead.
Q. Is there a reservation deadline?
No, reservations can be made until the last minute as long as there is a vacancy.
Q. Is the reservation made on a minute basis?
It is made in hourly units. The start time of the reservation can be selected in intervals of 15 minutes.
Q. How many reservations can I make?
Up to five lockers can be reserved at one time per member.
Q. What is the maximum rental period for one reservation?
A locker can be reserved up to 72 hours.
Q. When can I make a reservation?
Reservations can be made at any time between 6 a.m. and 12 a.m. (closed from midnight to the following morning at 6 a.m.) However, a reservation that covers the time from midnight until after the following morning at 6 a.m. is possible. Also, the luggage storage service is closed from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m.; the system only allows taking out your luggage at your convenience during the period.
Q. Can I change my reservation details?
Yes, please access the reservation page 20 minutes prior to the start time of the reservation. If the locker is the same as the locker you reserved, you can change the reservation use time and size. If you wish to change to another locker, please cancel your original reservation and make a new one.
Q. Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes, please access the reservation page 20 minutes prior to the start time of the reservation.
Q. What should I do if I need to cancel after 20 minutes prior to the start time of the reservation?
Cancellation is not accepted after 20 minutes prior to the start time of the reservation. (Charged at 100% of the reservation fee).

Put Luggage (Storage)

Q. How should I store my luggage?
Please follow the steps below.
(1) The reservation and locker numbers will be announced via email and My Page 15 minutes prior to the start time of the reservation.
(2) When your reservation time comes, go to a locker with the guided locker number.
(3) Select [Put luggage (Storage)] -> [Member's Use/ Reservation Use] and input your reservation number on the operation panel.
(4) Place your luggage in the specified position, close the door to store it, and then you're done.
Q. I got the following message when trying to use a To Locca locker. What should I do?
“You are at the wrong locker. Please try again at the following locker that you reserved.”
Normal lockers with no labels of To Locca may be temporarily available for reservations based on availability. Please find the locker with a locker number displayed on the reservation page or on the operational panel and go through the steps again.
Q. How do I know the location of my locker?
We have a location map on the reservation page, which will guide you to the locations of all lockers. The location map is illustrated with the locker numbers. Please check the map to find the route to your locker.

Take luggage out (Taking Out)

Q. How can I take out my luggage?
Please follow the steps below.
(1) Go to your locker, select [Take luggage out (Taking Out)] -> [Member's Use/ Reservation Use] and input your reservation number on the operation panel.
(2) The door will unlock. Take your luggage out.
Q. Can I take out my luggage before the reservation end time?
Yes, it can be taken out anytime at your convenience. The fee will be the same as that given in your reservation.

Usage fees

Q. How much is the usage fee?
The basic fees are as follows (all prices are tax included).
・S size: a basic fee of 100 yen is charged every hour (maximum charge per day: 1,000 yen)
・M size: a basic fee of 150 yen is charged every hour (maximum charge per day: 1,500 yen)
・L size: a basic fee of 200 yen is charged every hour (maximum charge per day: 2,000 yen)
No fee will be added between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. of the following day where you cannot put in your luggage.

Please note that a certain amount of money is reserved in advance at the time of reservation for this service, considering the maximum 72 hours of use.
・S size: 4,000 yen
・M size: 6,000 yen
・L size: 8,000 yen
After the reservation is completed, the amount of money secured other than the usage fee will be released in accordance with the credit card company's policies. The timing of the cancellation depends on your credit card company.
Q. Do all your lockers have the same basic fees and maximum charge per day specified according to the size range?
They may vary depending on the lockers. For more details, please refer to the pages of each locker type.
(As of March 25, 2020, the same price system is applied to all the lockers.)
Q. Are there any pay registration fees and initial costs?
No.

Extend/ Overdue

Q. Can I extend the pickup time after leaving my luggage in a locker?
Yes. Please visit the reservation page to apply for the extension.
Since an extension may cause a reservation conflict, we would appreciate your understanding and cooperation to avoid it if at all possible.
Q. How much is the extension fee?
The basic fee is charged hourly just in the same way as the normal rent.
Q. Is there an application deadline for the service extension?
The extension procedure must be completed 5 minutes prior to the end time of the reservation.
Q. What would happen if I were late without taking the procedure to extend use time?
The basic fee would be charged every 30 minutes for overdue rent per hour.
Q. What is the maximum charge per day for extensions and overdue of time?
It is the same as the normal rent.

Coupon

What is a coupon?
Coupons are issued for each To Locca campaign.
If you select a coupon when applying for a reservation, the coupon amount will be discounted from the total amount at the end of use. If the usage fee exceeds the amount of the coupon you have, the difference will be paid by credit card.
* The discount amount of the discount coupon will be applied to the reservation price (including consumption tax).
Is there an expiration date?
Each coupon has an expiration date.
Please terminate the use by the expiration date.
If the service is terminated after the expiration date, the coupon cannot be used.
* The expiration date will be 23:59 on the date specified on each coupon.
Is there a limit to the number that can be used?
Only one coupon can be used per booking.
You cannot use multiple coupons at the same time.
I forgot to select a coupon when applying for a reservation. Can I choose later?
Coupons cannot be used to pay for reservations that have already been confirmed. Please select the coupon when you make a reservation.
What happens to my coupon if I cancel my reservation?
If you cancel 20 minutes before the reservation start time, the coupon will be refunded.
What happens to my coupon if I change my reservation?
The content of the coupon selected when applying for a reservation can be changed when the reservation content is changed.
In addition, if you extend the reservation after the reservation start time has passed, you cannot change the contents of the coupon selected when you applied for the reservation.
If I select a coupon and apply for a reservation and the reservation end time has passed without using the reservation locker, will the coupon be refunded?
No refunds will be given.
What happens to my coupon if I apply for a reservation but no locker is assigned?
The coupon selected when applying for the reservation will be refunded.
What will happen to my coupon if I unsubscribe?
Your coupon will expire.

JRE POINT

What is JRE POINT?
JRE POINT is a point service operated by JR East.

How do you link To Locca and JRE POINT?
➀ To ➀ After logging in to To Locca, access the menu screen" JRE POINT Linkage "
② Select the JRE POINT cooperation method that is the target of the customer
③ Click the "Confirm" button at the bottom of the page, then click the "Register" button to complete the link.
Earn JRE POINTs by using To Locca!
If you register as a member of To Locca and link with JRE POINT, you will receive 1 point for every 100 yen (tax included) used by To Locca.
JRE POINT is valid from the date of the last point acquisition / use to the end of the month two years later. (Limited time points given in point campaigns, etc. are not eligible.)
The timing of grant will be 14 days after the settlement.
Use JRE POINT with To Locca!
If you register as a member of To Locca and link with JRE POINT, you can use JRE POINT for payment when using To Locca.
Please enter the JRE POINT usage amount to be used when applying for a reservation. If the usage fee exceeds the JRE POINT usage amount you are using, the difference will be paid with the registered credit card.
If you cancel 20 minutes before the reservation start time, JRE POINT will be refunded.
If you want to change your reservation, you can change the JRE POINT usage amount selected when you applied for the reservation.
If you extend the reservation after the reservation start time has passed, you cannot change the JRE POINT usage amount selected when you applied for the reservation.
* Due to system limitations, reservations cannot be made using JRE POINT between midnight and 5 am.

Other

Q. What would happen to the luggage if I did not take it out by the end time of my reservation?
It would be stored in the locker for 72 hours after the start time of the reservation. In that case, the prescribed fee shall be paid.
Q What would happen to the luggage when the 72 hours have expired after the start time of my reservation?
The provider of the locker services would take out the luggage for separate storage. In that case, we will send contact information to your registered email. Please pick up your luggage after contacting us first.
Also, please be advised that the separate storage will incur a fee by the provider company on a daily basis. No additional fees are charged by us after the 72 hours have expired.
Q. Is there the possibility of my locker not being available at the time of the reservation due to an extension or other matter of the user before me?
We will offer a nearby locker in that case temporarily to cover the lack of reservation-only lockers depending on availability. When we cannot prepare a nearby locker 15 minutes before the start time of the reservation, the reservation may not be confirmed and as a result may be canceled.
Q. What should I do if I have questions or concerns about the service?
